Time Off:

- Continuing Medical Education:
- Reimbursement for CME expenses in the amount of $700 for PGY-1, $1250 for PGY-2, $1500 for PGY-3
- All registration fees for BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NALS, PALS, ALSO paid by program (average value = $1000.00)
Licensure and Dues:
- State of Alabama medical licensure fees, DEA registration fees, and AAFP resident membership dues paid by program, as well as examination fees required for these licenses (average value = $2500.00)
Meals:
- Provided free of charge in St. Vincent’s East cafeteria or doctor’s lounge dining, snacks provided in call room (average value = $2500.00/year)
Uniforms:
- Two clinical coats are provided to PGY-1 residents; one additional coat is provided during either PGY-2 or 3 year
